DANCE SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for female crews/dance companies, girls and women who are interested in performing as part of the 2020 Ladies of Hip-Hop Festival Showcase. We are looking for submission with professional level dance work. To be considered read below:

TO SUBMIT: Use the submission form below. All submissions must be made no later than April 1st. Please make sure the following is included in the submission form below.

• CONTACT INFORMATION: name, address, country, phone, email. Name of the company and dancers performing.
• A WORK SAMPLE: Place a link to your work using Youtube or Vimeo only. Please DO NOT submit video link to a Dropbox, iCloud or We Transfer. The video must be viewable online. The video can be made private just remember to send the password in the comments section.
• Must be a good quality video that will help us clearly understand your artistic vision and your ability to perform.
• You must submit video of the piece being performed. It can be a work in progress. However your submission must be a minimum of 1:00 minute in length.

What is NOT accepted:

• Do NOT submit: videos less than 1:00 minute in length
• Do NOT submit: edited/produced videos including performance/choreography reels. It must be a submission of the work to be performed.
• Do NOT submit: low quality, blurry video
• Do NOT submit: videos via Dropbox, iCloud or We Transfer. The video must be viewable online. The video can be made private just remember to send the password in the comments section.
• PLEASE NOTE ALL MUSIC MUST BE CLEAN VERSIONS. NO EXCEPTIONS!

NOTIFICATION :

• Unfortunately LOHHF cannot notify each and every submission, if selected, choreographers/groups will be notified.
• Please don't email asking if you were selected. As stated above selected choreographers/groups will be notified.
• Please be aware LOHHF is not responsible for any expenses related to creating, rehearsing or presenting as part of Ladies of Hip-Hop Festival Showcase.
• Please be aware there are no additional festival discounts related to creating, rehearsing or presenting as part of Ladies of Hip-Hop Festival Showcase.
• Please be aware LOHHF does not have access to rehearsal space.
• Please be aware LOHHF does not cover rehearsal space costs related to creating, rehearsing or presenting as part of Ladies of Hip-Hop Festival Showcase.
